Hosting/Domain Change

I'm going to be moving over to a new Web Host with in a few weeks, so you might see the site go down for a bit, hopefully not to long. I'm not really sure what to expect during this hosting move... I've never moved hosts before. Just bare with and hope that all goes smooth.

iPhone OS4 update second review

This second review is because after using it for a while, I've got more things to say.

First off if you haven't read my first review go do that now here.

So there is one big thing I want to add about the new iPhone OS4. I wish I could turn the multitasking feature off. I know I sorta praised multitasking in the last post, but that was before I got to use the phone for more then a day with this ability. Now, I'm seeing major slowness in the device. I thought there was a limit to how many apps can be running in the background. Apparently I'm wrong or something because every application I open ends up hanging around in the multitasking bar and is eating up loads of my phones memory and causing these times of slowness. It's becoming irritating when I have to go into the multitasking bar to force programs closed just to get the phone to run faster. Apple PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE find a better way to control multitasking on iPhone OS4. I love the idea, just not the slowness the phone becomes.

The precursor to be friends

The inevitable conclusion of friendships is that they all must eventually come to an end. You can't save it, you can't predict it. It happens when you least expect it and the impact can last forever. The journey that leads to the inevitability is then questioned. How could it have happened? You then find yourself questioning your actions. Are you satisfied? Is it worth it? iOS4 iPhone update

After updating my iPhone the first time to iOS4 I was ready to scream because I was having issues like several others on the Internet. I was beginning to doubt apple's product but I after about 20 minutes with apple tech support I was finally able to get my iPhone running correctly. Here is a mini review of what problems I was having. I couldn't access the cellular data, meaning no Internet no email stuff like that. I also didn't have access to voicemail and MMS. I was very disappointed, but finally glad to having it working again. I'm guessing I had a corrupt download when I first downloaded it. Later in the day after tech support I was able to get the problem fixed by just restoring the phone. It fixed it right up. Now I'm really enjoying the OS. I've been able to get all my icons down to 1 page of apps and the multitasking is pretty sweet. I wish more apps support it but perhaps that will change over time. My experience started out horrid and was finally fixed and now I'm happy. I'm enjoying the OS and now will happily suggest everyone else go out and update. Also a side note the update is free to iPod touch devices to. It wasn't like this before. So go Download. Now.

Through the broken mirror

I often find my self staring up into the sky looking for all the answers but all I get is more questions. There are complications around every turn and I never know how to deal with them. I'm 26 and not getting any younger. I want to enjoy life, and not just livable. I want to do things, live places, really get out and be me. Sometimes I wonder if what I'm doing in life will lead me to my final destination.

People in my life come and go, I've known this for a long time now. But some seem to be getting further away then I ever expected. Am I ready for this road of life? I'm I going to let those go that have started falling? What can I gain from drawing them back in? What can I loose? Are my losses and gains acceptable? I guess I shall soon see.

Whats new

It's been a while since I've done a real post so I figure it's time now. I'm not really looking forward to the next few months. Work is going to be supper crazy, with all the SOS devices I'll be installing. I Have 14 stores (chain account) and they are all over Northern California, as far north as Willits, so I'll be doing a lot of driving. It will be nice getting out of the office for a while, but it's going to feel weird. Well I guess thats all for now. Later readers.
